Ab März 2005 konnte man das 350Z Cabrio auch in Deutschland bei Nissan kaufen.
Das 350Z Cabrio hat äußerlich keinerlei Veränderung erhalten.
Die Änderung basierte auf die zusätzliche Verstärkung aufgrund des fehlenden Daches beim Roadster.
Das erste Facelift kam im September 2005 auf den Markt.
So wurde unter anderem die Leistung auf 301 PS leicht erhöht.
2007 kam erneut eine Modellpflege auf dem Markt. Diese lehnte sich an die Form des Nissan 240Z an.
Als Serienfahrzeug konnte man sich jetzt das Nissan 350Z Cabrio auch in orange, blau und grau bestellen.
Das 350 Z Roadster Cabrio ist aufgrund der geringeren Stückzahlen im Vergleich des Coupe auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt seltener zu finden.
Das Cabrioverdeck des Nissan 350Z ist mit einer beheizbaren Glasscheibe ausgerüstet
Durch die Arretierung an drei Stellen im geschlossenen Zustand ist das Aufblähen bei hoher Geschwindigkeit stark gemindert.
Original wurde der Nissan 350Z mit einem Vinyldach ausgerüstet. Diese Qualität entspricht heute nicht mehr dem aktuellen Standard.
